Here’s your interactive tarot reading for today.

Card 1 - Three of Pentacles - This card depicts a craftsman who has worked a very long time to master his skill so that his art has become a thing of love and perfection. We can see the fine detail in the finished product. What used to be difficult, or a challenging chore has now become a labor of love. This craftsman takes great pride in his creation, knowing he has developed great skill that is in demand and which will generate financial reward. The Three of Pentacles is a beneficial card, especially where money and material wealth are concerned. You have achieved mastery in a certain area of your work, or possibly a hobby you have been refining for some time, that will now pay off in abundance and financial stability.

Card 2 - The Tower - When we first look upon this card, we are frightened, seeing only upheaval and destruction. And while this is partially true, there is a beneficial side to The Tower that many do not recognize. In this image, we see dark skies and some kind of a blow to the building, possibly lightening, setting it on fire and causing it to crumble. The damage appears so severe that a man is falling, naked, to what seems to be certain death. Clearly, he didn’t even have time to clothe himself. Whether he jumped out the window in an attempt to save himself, or was ejected due to the explosion, is unclear. This card suggests that perhaps some foundational thoughts or beliefs you have been holding have not been serving you and those foundations are now crumbling beneath you. You may have held these beliefs thinking that they made you feel secure and safe. But in reality, they may have cornered you into a space where you are now stuck in a rut…afraid to get out of your comfort zone. Where before you may have been waffling on a certain problem or issue, now you are being forced to move in a new (and probably healthier) direction. Embrace the change.

Card 3 - Strength - This card portrays an elegant young woman who exudes a sense of self-confidence and relaxed control in all areas of her life. She is well-dressed, so her financial needs appear to be of no real concern, and though a massive lion is at her side, she keeps him only loosely bound on a leash. She knows she is powerful, has access to his protection if and when she needs it, but she has clearly mastered his wild side so that he obeys her commands. The lion is more like a pet than a predator, where their relationship is concerned. This large cat represents our own base passions and savage ‘shadow self.’ But in the Strength card we are assured we have the inner ability to resist those tendencies, rise above them, and use those aspects of ourselves to overcome any obstacle in our path. Whatever stands before you, you are empowered to overcome and rule in this situation.
