Monday, August 9th, 2021 - Interactive Tarot Card Reading

Here’s your interactive tarot reading for today.

First - Close your eyes and relax. Focus on that space just above and between your eyes…your Third Eye. Inhale deeply then exhale three times.

Second - Think about a specific question you’d like insight and guidance about.

Third - Look at each of these cards and notice which one draws you in. Which of the three cards are you energetically attracted to relating to your specific question? Ask yourself WHY you are attracted to that card? Do the colors hold any specific meaning for you? What elements are there in that card that pull you toward it. You might want to take notes about your observations and pay special attention to how these aspects of this card apply to your specific question.

Next - Read the description of this card below.

Card 1 - Nine of Cups - This is a cheerful, good-feeling card full of positive and welcoming energy. Many times, in a private reading, depending on where this card falls, the other cards surrounding it, and the querent’s question, this card could indicate you will be hosting a party or event of some kind, in a romantic relationship question, this card could indicate an older gentleman with a good nature is coming into your life - and he likely will be a small business owner of some kind. In a career question, this card might indicate a position in the hospitality or restaurant industry.

Traditionally - The Nine of Cups indicates comfortable abundance. Having lots of love and affection around you, as well as the desire and ability to share these blessings with others.

Card 2 - Eight of Swords - This card might feel disconcerting at first, as it depicts a blindfolded woman who appears to be in bondage, who is surrounded by eight swords. But, if we look closer we notice a few interesting things about her. First of all, we can see that she doesn’t appear to be struggling. The expression on her face isn’t one of distress, and she isn’t straining at the against the chains, which are only loosely draped around her wrists. Additionally, she is clean…sparklingly so, in fact. The eight swords surrounding her are also shiny, and none of them are pointed at her in any kind of a threatening way. In fact, we could conclude that they may be there for her own protection. There is space between them, and we see no guards present, so she might even be able to get up and pass between them, if she wanted to. And that is the essence of this card. While she may appear imprisoned, this captivity seems to be of her own making. She might even be comfortable in that space.

Traditionally - The Eight of Swords suggests a feeling of being powerless and trapped. A captive unable to see any way out. The swords may represent perceived danger…but swords also represent communication, and thus, could also be the means of cutting through the situation to provide the way out. This card may also be interpreted as a person who is limited or constricted by their own thoughts, preconceptions, or prejudices.

Card 3 - Seven of Cups - This is a beautiful card filled with enormous possibility. The suit of cups signifies emotion, love, relationships. And also, opportunities for personal growth and evolution. When this card shows up in a reading it may indicate many different, but significant life lessons and/or choices lie ahead. Especially those connected to different kinds of love relationships, or issues where you feel a deep level of personal passion and attraction.

This is very close to the traditional meaning attributed to this card. Dreams, goals, and aspirations are also strongly suggested here. Take the time to look closely at each cup and consider the opportunities before you. Some different types of love to consider, from the lower right corner moving to the upper left might be; personal relationships where you are challenged to grow mentally or psychologically, opportunities that empower you to “spread your wings” and expand individually, love of travel or potential real estate acquisition, love of nature, marital love or that where you are bound to a significant other, love of adventure/fiction/stories/history/mythology, and lastly, love of a spiritual nature that fills you with a sense of peace.

I hope these cards give you something to think about and ponder as you move through your day today.
